US Airways Commuter Terminal F:
McKissack, as a subconsultant, provided construction management services for the 195,000 SF Commuter Terminal at the Philadelphia International Airport. The renovation provided a new concourse for 38 commuter gates, an enclosed pedestrian connector to facilitate circulation between the adjoining terminals and a high-rise parking garage. Terminal F also includes a commuter ticket lobby, passenger support facilities and other modern conveniences.
Terminal F was just one of the numerous improvements the Philadelphia International Airport has completed over the last decade, specifically the construction of Terminal A, renovations to Terminals B, C, D and E, the addition of a shopping mall in Terminals B and C, new parking facilities and new food and beverage spaces located throughout the entire airport.
