As General Contractor, McKissack provided all labor, material and equipment necessary for the $3 million third floor renovation of Wexler Library at Hunter College. The 16,000 SF project transformed the third floor into a state-of-the-art learning commons and information center that serves students and faculty as well as provided much needed student space for reading, studying and collaborating. The design of the floor is open and unobstructed with three prominent service nodes; welcome, circulation/reserve and reference. There is a diverse selection of student study spaces and student resources which include the coffee bar, printer kiosks, self-checkout stations high-speed wireless access throughout.
